All persons participating in this show do so at their own risk and will have no claim against the organizers, including any officials, employees, members, show holding body or sponsors for any damage or loss of property or death or injury of persons suffering during or in connection with this event from any cause whatsoever.  No minor may participate in this event without the permission of his or her guardian, who indemnifies organizers (including all other persons and bodies) against any such claims by such, minors.


RULES AND REGULATIONS:  

  1. Rules  available www.reiningsa.co.za 
  2. ALL HORSES MUST HAVE A VALID PASSPORT ON HAND

    All horses must have documentation of an Influenza vaccination within 6 months of the date of the show and of African Horse Sickness vaccination within 12 months of the date of the show. 

  3. Open to all horses/ponies as members or day members of Reining & Western Performance Horse South Africa. 
  4. The organisers reserve the right to scratch, combine and restrict classes should they deem it necessary. 
  5. If a class is cancelled due to lightening or other weather it will not be rescheduled.
  6. The age of the horse is the age that the horse will turn in the year following 01/01/2019
  7. Riders under 18 ARE NOT PERMITTED to ride stallions.
  8. Hard hats for Short Stirrup & Youth are MANDATORY and encouraged for adult riders. 

EXERCISING OF HORSES  

Warm-up runs and time slots will be handed out after entries close and will be hosted in main arena.  There will be other warm up arenas allocated for exercising your horse for all other classes. 

SHOW NUMBERS  

Numbers will be allocated per Horse.  Two numbers will be issued, that must be affixed onto the saddle pad, behind the rider’s leg, on each side of the horse.  THE SAME NUMBER WILL BE USED PER HORSE ACROSS THE DIFFERENT ORGANISATIONS

Horses and riders/handlers who are not in the arena within 2 minutes after the class is called will not be allowed to compete in that class
